Back pain is the single leading cause of disability, preventing many people from engaging in work as well as other everyday activities. Low back pain is a complex condition with multiple contributors to both the pain and associated disability, including psychological factors, social factors, biophysical factors, comorbidities, and pain-processing mechanisms.
Fractures
A fracture is a broken bone. A bone may be completely fractured or partially fractured in any number of ways (crosswise, lengthwise, in multiple pieces). We classify the fractures into two main categories the “closed fracture” without any skin damage, and the “open" fracture” which is particularly serious because once the skin is opened-damaged, infection in both the wound and the bone can occur.
Neurological disorders
Central- or peripheral- nervous systems disorders are frequent and they need a long period of rehabilitation to restore mobility and sensation. Peripheral nervous traumas are caused mainly due to a vehicle accident or due to a fall from a certain height. Central nervous system disorder, such as brain hemorrhagic disorders can cause permanent disability and a treatment option includes simple movement re-education, balance, and gait cycle re-education.
High quality physiotherapy care
Prevention is the key
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are pathological injuries to the bones, ligaments, joints, muscles, nerves, and vascular system which can affect the overall function of the human body. Work-related MSDs (WMSDs) are injuries to the musculoskeletal system occurring in the workplace, due to the environment, caused by repetitive motions such as bending, crawling, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling. WMSDs have been classified by the World Health Organization in two categories: acute and chronic injuries. Acute injuries are those that have occurred recently and may require immediate care from a health care professional.

Musculoskeletal Pain
MSK Pain is one of the symptoms with the highest frequency when seeking medical care, and among patients suffering from pain, half of the final diagnosis are due to musculoskeletal cause. Before we explain more in detail about the MSK-pain, we should talk a little more about pain, what is actually pain? Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage, or described in terms of such damage”. According to the IASP-10, we categorize pain into three main sub-categories: the Nociceptive pain, the Neuropathic pain and recently the new sub- category named: Nociplastic pain.
